The fundamentals of legitimacy are the values that a government or leader must have, inthe eyes of the people at home or in the international system abroad, or must implement insociety; Because the transition process that will lead to the replacement of a leader, if itlacks legitimacy, calls into question the survival of such leader and will overthrow him.
Rational justification for accepting the authority of the Leader, which is directly related to the extent of government power and citizens' freedom, and is referred to as legitimacy, is one of the most important concerns facing rulers or governments. For this reason, survival has always been a constant concern for Central Asian leaders, and this has directly depended on their legitimacy. Given Weber's framework of all kinds of legitimacy, the predominant legitimacy of Central Asian leaders in their countries' political systems has always depended on charismatic and traditional legitimacy, but as they entered the international system as new political units, they faced modernity fundamentals of legitimacy, which challenged their present legitimacy. In this regard, in this descriptive analytical article, we seek to provide a perspective on the status of legitimacy and its predominant aspect in the political structure of Central Asia so as to be used as a model to analyze the future political transitions of Central Asia.
