Political development as one of the most important components and indicators of democratic systems has always been of interest, especially during elections, this concept is used as a tool to examine the points of view of election candidates. This component emerged among the candidates for the 14th presidential term of Iran, and in this regard, the question was raised, what was the position of political development among the candidates for the 14th term of the presidential election and what components did it include? And by using the conceptual framework of political development and also by relying on the method of quantitative content analysis of descriptive-analytical type, the hypothesis was raised that political development was one of the things that was raised among the speeches of 6 presidential election candidates and the findings show that the categories Related to political development has been repeated 109 times during 5 televised debates, which has shown the importance of political development among election candidates. This frequency is in the categories of democratic political structure and political parties, dynamic civil society and civil political culture, and political participation and elections. is set free.
