Resistance is politics and constant behavior in the face of hostility and aggression or whatever; Which upsets the balance. Standing up and standing firm against any internal and external factors that upset the balance is not limited to the military aspect; Rather, it is a multifaceted and deterrent strategic resistance in the face of threats and dangers. The subject of this article is to study what is the strategy of resistance, its dimensions, contexts, consequences, and perspective in the Supreme Leader's works as a determining component in the development of Islamic society and overcoming the challenges arising from the powerseeking feature of the domination system. Meanwhile, a study of the statements of the Supreme Leader since 1989 shows that the strategy of resistance in his thought is of vital importance in the continuation of the Islamic Revolution and reaching the horizon of Islamic civilization and the model of Iranian-Islamic progress. The method used in this research is the Grounded Theory research strategy. The data of this study were extracted from the texts of Ayatollah Khamenei's statements during three decades from 1989 to 2017 based on the thematic files of the resistance on khameni.ir site. They were classified into 146 codes and 11 categories and various concepts based on the Grounded Theory method, and accordingly, during three stages of open, axial, and selective coding, the process of communication between key points, concepts, and categories was revealed and around the central concept of resistance, the underlying, deterrent dimensions and consequences of the Islamic resistance strategy were investigated and designed. The findings of this article show that the strategy of resistance is a multidimensional concept that provides the ground for achieving a new Islamic civilization by denying domination and creating deterrence in various political, economic, military, and cultural dimensions.
